- The outstanding opera singer and the teacher -
the national actor of Ukraine, the national actor of Moldova, the professor of National musical academy of Ukraine P.Chajkovsky Victor Kurin was born on February, 24th, 1934 in c.Sverdlovsk (Ukraine, Lugansk area). He finished vocal faculty of the Kiev state conservatory P.Chajkovsky in 1964 (professor Evtushenko's class). . The winner of vocal competitions: - Mykola Lysenko's - all Ukraine competation (1962, Kiev - 1 award) - Michail Glinka's - all Soviet Union competation - 1962, Moscow. - 1954-65 - the soloist of Ensemble of a song and dance of the Kiev military district. The honored artist of Ukraine - 1964. - 1965-75 - the soloist of the Moldavian opera and ballet theater. The national actor of Moldova - 1974. - 1975-88 - the soloist of the Kiev opera and ballet theater Taras Shevchenko (National opera of Ukraine nowdays). Since 1982 - the opera vocal teacher, since 1992 - the professor of the Kiev conservatory P.Tchaikovsky (nowadays National Musical Academy Ukraine of P.Tchaikovsky). The national actor of Ukraine (2002). He was awarded by the state awards: Award of the Labour Red Banner (1972), "Julius Fuchik" Award (Czechoslovakia), awards and medals of the USSR and Moldova. The honourable grant-aided student of Fund Ukraine-1 century. Opera parties: Rigoletto ("Rigoletto"), Conte di Luna ("Il Trovatore"), monasro("Aida"), George Germont ("La traviata") by G.Verdi, Figaro (Il barbiere di Seviglia by G.
